Thursday is our field trip to the Troy Nature Center. We will be leaving our classrooms to board the buses at 9:00. Parent volunteers please arrive and check in at the office by 8:50. You can then head down to our classroom to wait until we are ready to board the bus.
What your child should wear: A warm winter coat with a sweatshirt underneath Snowpants Boots Mittens/Gloves Hat Scarf *It’s going to be cold especially since our trip is in the morning. Please make sure your child is bundled up! We will have them keep their winter wear on from the start of school so when we board the bus all students will be dressed as they came to school. On Friday, March 13th, we will be taking our field trip to the Troy Nature Center. All students will be outside for a good portion of this field trip. Please be aware that our field trip is in the morning and the temperature may still be cool. Hats, gloves, and snow pants are recommended. Each child MUST wear waterproof boots. We are also recommending an extra pair of clothing in your child’s backpack, including socks and dry shoes. Should they get wet, they will be able to change once we return to school. Your child is personally responsible for any belongings that they bring on the field trip. Please make sure to label everything.
** If your child cannot have a maple syrup candy, please let your child’s teacher know prior to the field trip. ** Parent Volunteer Drivers Please arrive at your child’s classroom at 9:10. The program runs from 10:00 until 11:30. Please make sure to bring all of your booster seats for the children riding in your car. If you indicated that you have fewer booster seats than available spots for children, we do have a few extra booster seats available here for you to use. You will be outside, too! Don’t forget to dress for the weather. |
