Students learned the difference between being Proactive and being Reactive. Ask your child about our experiment between the bottle of water and the bottle of pop. Which one should they try to be like and why?
Students also spent time discussing Circle of Influence and Circle of Control. Proactive people focus on their Circle of Influence, which includes things that they can change or do something about. Reactive people focus on their Circle of Control, which includes things over which they have little or no control.
Ask your child which of these fall into the Circle of Influence and which items fall into the Circle of Control: thunderstorms, attitude, eye color, feelings, height, turning in your homework, and a power outage.
